The Waiter

he fiber of our faith,

Has been compared

To a muscle,

Where it's said

That exercise,

Will increase the size

And make it stronger,

And inactivity,

Will lead to weakness

And decay.

If so,

Then are bulging

Spiritual biceps,

Our ultimate aim

And highest goal?

The twelve disciples

Seemed to think so.

ay after day

They watched,

And listened,

Amazed,

And awed,

As the lame

Leapt for joy,

When they felt

Praised His name,

While the dumb

Yes even those

Who had no eyes,

Rejoiced to see

The face of He

But,

The more

The twelve disciples

Watched,

And listened,

And talked

Among themselves,

The more they felt

Their faith,
