Summary: The Curse

or even if the Maker

Of the fig tree,

Had only found

One little tiny fig

Clinging to its branches,

Do you think

He would have cursed it?

No,

Because it's never been

About how many figs

Are on the tree,Mark 12:41-44

But rather,

It has always been about

The infinite amount

The Lord can make,

If He is in the tree,

When the tree

Seeks to feed the needs

Of others first.

And we are

The fig trees,

The planting of the Lord,Isaiah 61:1-3

If our deeds feed

Our neighbors need,

For love and understanding.1 Peter 3:8-9

Or if we seek to sow

A seed of patience,

In those we deem to be

Impatient or demanding.Galatians 5:13-16

Notwithstanding,

The overwhelming fact

That we feel like

We only have,

One little tiny fig

Of happiness,

Clinging to our branches.
