So we never

Run out!

This,

Is the secret He concealed,

In the mustard seed

Sized meal,

The widow fed Elijah.

And yet God has promised

To reveal it,

To all who seek

To do the same.

To all,

Who seek to feed the needs

Of others first,

Instead of being focused

On their own needs first,

Or on the things

They think they need,

Or must attain.

For would the miracle,

Have occurred,

If the widow had insisted

That she eat first?

Or if she had demanded

That she had to have

Some proof first?

Or,

If she had asserted

That she had to have,

An overflowing measure

In her own cup first?

No.

It never would have.

Instead,

God waited till her flour bin

Had been completely emptied,

For the needs

Of others first,

Before He spoke the word,

That re-infused it.

Had been completely emptied,

For the needs

Of others first,

Before He spoke the word,

That re-imbued it.
