Seven Times

hy do certain sins

Seem so strong,

That even though we know

The Lord has promised us

The power to defeat them,

We still seem,

Unable to prevail

Or unseat them?

And why,

Does it seem the more we try

To understand

The reason why,

The more it only emphasizes

Why we need to know

The reason why,

We must immerse ourselves,

In a muddy river?

Leprosy,

Symbolized,

And wealth,

And status,

And flowing robes

Of costly fabric,Mark 12:38-40

Were all said to be

The signs that God

"Now Naaman,

Captain of the host

Of the king of Syria,

Was a great man

With his master,

And honourable,

Because by him

The LORD had given deliverance

Unto Syria:

He was also

A mighty man in valour,

But he was a leper.

And the Syrians

Had gone out by companies,

And had brought away

Captive

Out of the land of Israel
